Where do I get grant funding for business start up?

Grant funding for for-profit businesses is very unlikely. Various business loan programs exist to help facilitate business financing, including Small Business Administration and California loan guarantee programs, Certified Development Financial Institutions, local alternative and micro lenders, etc. High growth businesses may be able to pursue private financing. The SBDC can help you identify possible sources and develop a solid funding proposal or loan application.
